Carcassing and graded construction timber
The majority of our carcassing and graded construction timber is kiln dried to maintain outstanding quality: it has greater strength and a longer lifetime. This process also prevents damage caused by mould, decay and warping. Just click here to choose the most suitable profile.
Japanese grade and sizes
CED has been successfully working with Japanese market since 1999. With the change of shareholders for CED Ltd in September 2003, CED Ltd has rather successfully developed and expanded production of 19mm Japan quality boards. Japan market wasn't that beneficial for the company 2003-MAR/2004 when prices for raw material (logs & unseasoned timber) where rising steadily. Stabilization in the raw materials market was observed since then.
In line with improved efficiency in the production cycle, stabilization in the raw materials market and regular supply of best quality Nothern Russian timber makes us to be very optimistic about Japan lumber market.
Currently CED is exporting 10-15 containers per month 1x4 size, and 2-4 containers of 1x1, 1x2, 1x6 and 2x4 sizes which is 35-40% of current capacity for Japan market.
